Super 8 pares your experience down to visuals alone. That simplicity is its special power. We can let your day unfold as it’s meant to without a bunch of intrusive directions. In editing, I only overlay one song to avoid distraction. This minimalist approach highlights the emotions that are already present instead of over-producing your real life.
Intentional footage with your priorities in mind.
Because each Super 8 film cartridge can only record up to 3 minutes of footage, I’m very intentional about what I document. We’ll collaborate ahead of your wedding day so that you can tell me what matters most to you.
Every version of your video.
After your wedding, you’ll receive the edited video in full and web formats with music licensing. You also get the uncut footage. Super 8 started as a home video medium, and those raw moments are part of its unique appeal.

I’ll use 4 cartridges of film to create a 12-minute video. This package is best for marriers who want footage from each portion of the day, from getting ready through the reception.

STARTING AT $5,995
Using up to 8 cartridges of Super 8 film, I get even more footage for you all to remember the most of your day. We can collaborate to figure out when you’d like to start the four hours of coverage.

Film Photo Add-on

If the photographer you’ve booked is only shooting digital wedding photography, you can include my film photography add-on to your day! I’ll bring a film camera with me and capture those in-between moments on film.

WHAT IS SUPER 8?
Super 8 is getting more popular for wedding videos, but you might have noticed the footage looks really different from conventional 4k video. That’s because it’s recorded on 8mm film. Kodak introduced this format, along with cameras and projectors, in 1965 as a more user-friendly way for people to make home videos. A Super 8 wedding video feels like a home movie in the best way – organic, nostalgic, authentic.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO SUPER 8?
I bought a Super 8 camera a few years ago to create my own home videos. My goal was to have something that my future kids and grandkids could look back on, and phone videos tend to get lost in digital space. I filmed my fiancée and our dog Kiko at the park then our family at Christmas. The film was so beautiful that I cried. Since then, I’ve taken every opportunity to become an expert at using Super 8 equipment. I’ve been taking film and editing classes since I was 16. As a Super 8 wedding videographer, I get to marry that experience with this incredible art form.
HOW WILL I GET MY VIDEO?
Since Super 8 is literal film, the process is a little different than your typical digital video. I send the film to a lab to be processed and scanned. Once I receive the scans from the lab, I send out sneak peeks. Then I edit a highlight reel with background music. You receive all the files via email about 8 weeks after your wedding day.
