Relaxed Pocono Palms Wedding with Artistic Photos

June 4, 2024

Having a nontraditional wedding gives you the chance to bring your most authentic self to your celebration. Bre and Andrew’s relaxed Pocono Palms wedding had the best parts of a destination wedding with a nontraditional approach that kept the focus on emotional connection. Their artistic wedding photos give you the feeling of being in their wedding day as it unfolds.

A Pocono Palms Wedding

Pocono Palms is located in a former church. It’s been renovated with a smart mix of modern and classic details. Sunlight streams through tall windows. Chandeliers hang from a vaulted ceiling above the black and white tile floors. The minimalist renovation makes the venue a good canvas for any aesthetic that you want to bring to your wedding.

If you’re looking for a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, Pocono Palms has plenty of both. Bre and Andrew had their ceremony and cocktail hour in the gardens followed by an indoor reception. Because the property has so many spaces for wedding activities, as well as getting ready spaces, you could have your full day at Pocono Palms. That relieves a ton of stress that can come with coordinating travel between locations.

Pocono Palms is a good wedding venue for anyone who wants the feeling of an Upstate New York wedding without the price tag. Even though it’s only two hours away from Philadelphia and New York City, it gives you the feeling of a destination wedding. That makes it a practical solution for people who want that romance of being somewhere different while keeping travel easy for guests.

The cost of a Pocono Palms wedding varies depending on the day of the week you want to get married. Rental fees range between $7,000 and $9,250. The venue’s total capacity is 140. Given the different spaces available, it works just as well for a small wedding as a big one.

Artistic Wedding Photos for Bre and Andrew

Bre and Andrew’s wedding was a good reflection of who they are. They’re people who value authenticity and experiences over material gifts. Their wedding focused on connection. Before the wedding, Bre and Andrew shared this with me:

“More than anything, we want to have a great party with our closest friends and family. It’s not often you get to have so many of your closest people from all over in one single place, so we really want to enjoy our time with everyone. We’ve really taken a more non-traditional approach to our wedding, trying to focus on what we truly want, and it’s exciting to see everything fall into place. We certainly want to have a great time ourselves, but the same goes for everyone else. We want to create life-lasting memories and to have the ability to capture those moments is an added bonus.”

They definitely gave their guests an unforgettable experience at Pocono Palms! I’m so glad I got to document it with artistic photos. This wedding venue has so many amazing settings for moments to unfold.

When I asked Bre and Andrew what drew them to my work, they immediately said it was “the authenticity of the photos and how they made you feel like you were there, in the moment.” I strived to bring that element of feeling right there into Bre and Andrew’s wedding photos. Using artistic compositions and lighting, I created a gallery of images that give you the feeling of being in the room. This approach is so powerful because looking at the photos takes you right back to those emotions.
